Suggested Itineraries


The Shingola Trek  Area: Zanskar and Lahoul 
Trek Route: Padum to Darcha  Grade: C-3    Best Season: July & August.
We start with an exciting drive across the Ladakh and Zanskar valleys, with spectacular views of the peaks of Nun (23,546 ft) and Kun (23, 216 ft). After crossing the Pensi la pass, we will see the great Drangdrung glacier and the Ringdom Monastery. Later, traversing the timeless, barren valleys of Zanskar on foot, we cross the Shingola Pass (16, 718 ft) into the Lahoul valley in Himachal Pradesh. Now we will pass nomadic shepherds and their herds of yak, sheep and goats. Several streams and rivers have to be forded, finally bringing us to the road-head at Darcha. A day- long drive takes us across the Rohtang Pass (apx. 13,000 ft), into the verdant Manali valley.

Day 1 Arrive Delhi. 2 Delhi - Leh fly. 3-4 Leh. 5-7 Leh-Padum drive. 8-17 Padum-Darcha trek. 18 Darcha-Manali drive. 20 Manali-Delhi fly. 22 Dep. Delhi. 

Pilgrimage to the Source of the Ganges Area: Western Garhwal 
Trek Route: Gaurikund - Tapovan Grade: B-3   Best Season: May-June & Sep.- Oct.
The alpine meadows on the Panwali ridge provide panoramic views of the central Himalayan peaks, ranging from 24,000 ft to 28,000 ft. We will meet pilgrims from all over India on the trail to the great Hindu pilgrimage center at the source of the Ganges. Other highlights include an 8th century temple below the massive ramparts of Mt. Kedarnath, and the awesome Gangotri glacier surrounded by Himalayan giants.
Outline Itinerary: Day 1 Arrive Delhi. 2-3 Delhi-Gaurikund Drive. 4-15 Gaurikund-Kedarnath-Gowmukh-Gangotri Trek. 16-18 Gangotri-Delhi Drive. 20 Depart Delhi. 

Everest Area: Nepal 
Trek Route: Charikot-Kalapathar-Lukla Grade: C-2 Best Season:Oct-Dec & Feb-Mar
This is the epic trail from Katmandu valley to the Everest Base Camp. There are shorter ways of reaching Everest, but this gentle walk provides a rich experience of every variation in Himalayan terrain, flora and folk cultures from 3,000 ft to 16,000 ft. Every valley holds a surprise, and every ridge gives stupendous views of gigantic peaks.

24 Lukla-Katmandu fly. 25 Dep. Katmandu 

Kanchenjunga Magic  Area: Darjeeling 
Trek Route: Batasi-Molle-Manebhanjang Grade: B-2 Best Season:Oct-Apr
From the picturesque mountain town of Darjeeling, we trek up through pretty forests of Rhododendron, ascending gradually to the Singalila ridge. There are close views of Mt. Kanchenjunga (27,850 ft) throughout the trek. Mt. Everest presides in the distance.
Outline Itinerary:Day 1 Arrive Delhi 2 Delhi-Darjeeling fly 4-12 Batasi-Manebhanjang Trek 
13 Drive to Darjeeling. 14 Darjeeling-Delhi fly. 15 Delhi. 16 Depart Delhi.

Annapurna Sanctuary Trek  Area: Nepal 
Trek Route: Pokhara-Machapuchare Base Camp-Pokhara  Grade: C-3  Season: Oct-Mar
The Annapurna Massif forms an almost complete ring of high mountains. The only breach in this mammoth wall is the Modi Kholla canyan to the South, and the Annapurna Sanctuary. Within lies a strange and enthralling amphitheater of ice and snow.

Day 1 Arrive Katmandu. 3 Katmandu-Pokhara Drive. 4-17 Trek. 18 Pokhara-Katmandu Drive. 
20 Depart Katmandu.

Chomalhari Trek  Area: Bhutan 
Trek Route: Shana-Shodu-Thimpu Grade: C-3  Best Season:Sep-Oct & Mar-Jun.
We offer a crystal clear, trout-rich stream through verdant rhododendron forest and pretty alpine meadows. Mount Chomalhari (24,000 ft) is one of the most beautiful peaks in the eastern Himalaya. It is a truely rewarding sight for the determined trekker, standing magnificently with age old forts and sprawling yak pastures in its foreground. We will cross several places rich in hystory and ancient art. 
Outline Itinerary: Day 1 Arrive Delhi. 2 Delhi-Paro Fly. 4-10 Trek. 11 Paro. 12 Paro-Delhi Fly.
