Agastya Ayurveda
Resort
 This
excellent resort offers a combination of a relaxed resort holiday
with Ayurvedic treatments and massage. Experts
assist you in this rejuvenation program with marma massage and other famous
ayurvedic massages, herbal medicines, fresh food and Indian music.
 The
resort offers individual bungalows located right by the sea, situated in
a natural garden dotted with palm trees and Ayurvedic plants. The bungalows
are set 30m above the sea level. The 300m long sandy beach is only
a 6 minute walk away, ideal for swimming and sunbathing.
 There
is no hotel atmosphere at this resort. No entrance halls and fancy
bars, but you will experience nature’s beauty at her best with the sea,
palmtrees and gardens. Most of the bungalows measure 6 x 4 m, and consist
of one room with an attached shower.
This unique resort is made entirely
of natural materials which blend into the environment. The walls
are, made of adobe, teak and bamboo. The floors are of ceramic tiles, and
the thatched roofs are supported by wooden beams. The bathroom is a shower-garden
without roof, its flooring is of ceramic-tiles and brick walls enclose
it. The patio floors are covered with shell sand.
Classical Indian music programs are presented twice a week at the open-air
restaurant.

The
healing science of Ayurveda is based entirely on the knowledge of the individual
constitution. The ancient sages of India were not interested in the microscopic
examination of organs and elements of the blood. They went deeper
and looked for the underlying principles that constitute the way
in which all the aspects of a person contribute to personal health.
This approach has proved timeless. Ayurveda has never had a "dark-age",
and today it fits comfortably with western medical practices.
